Desktop Engineer
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Desktop
Engineer to provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and maintain
IT infrastructure for end users. The ideal candidate will have expertise in hardware, software, operating systems, and
networking to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Install,
configure, and maintain desktop
computers, laptops, and peripherals
- Troubleshoot
and resolve hardware, software,
and network issues
- Provide
technical support to end
users and ensure timely issue resolution
- Configure
and maintain Active Directory,
user accounts, and permissions
- Ensure
system security and data
protection through antivirus and backup solutions
- Document
technical procedures and provide user training on IT best practices
- Collaborate
with IT teams to improve desktop support services
Requirements:
- Bachelor's
degree in Information Technology,
Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven
experience as a Desktop Engineer,
IT Support Specialist, or Help Desk Technician
- Strong
knowledge of Windows, macOS, and
Linux operating systems
- Experience
with Active Directory, Office 365,
and IT security best practices
- Proficiency
in troubleshooting hardware,
software, and network-related issues
- Understanding
of TCP/IP networking, VPNs, and
Wi-Fi troubleshooting
- Strong
problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
Excellent communication and customer service
